What is included with a routine serve?
A routine serve includes standard local service, up to three attempts at the provided address, GPS-stamped attempt notes where appropriate, status updates, and return/proof documentation after completion.
What is considered a rush serve?
Rush service is for time-sensitive matters, upcoming court dates, urgent filing needs, or short-deadline assignments. Rush serves receive priority handling and a first attempt within the stated rush window when accepted.
Can you help if I do not know where the person lives?
Yes. The Skip Trace + Locate Serve option is designed for bad, stale, or uncertain addresses. We research and verify a likely service location before attempting service and include a locate summary with the return.
What if the person is avoiding service?
For evasive subjects, CoVa Serve offers a higher-priority package that may include OSINT review, service planning, strategic attempt windows, and surveillance-supported field time. This option is built for subjects who are difficult to locate, avoiding contact, or unlikely to be served through standard attempts.
Do you provide GPS-stamped attempts?
Yes. Attempts are documented with date, time, location-aware field notes, and status details where appropriate. Photo or bodycam documentation may also be used when lawful and suitable for the assignment.

CoVa Serve may handle certain landlord-tenant and property-related documents where private service is permitted. Some documents may require sheriff, law-enforcement, court-designated, or statutory service. If a document is outside our scope, we will let you know before accepting the assignment.
Do you file the proof of service with the court?
Return requirements depend on the issuing court and the type of process. When applicable law requires the person serving process to make return to the clerk, CoVa Serve handles the return in accordance with the applicable requirements and court instructions. A copy of the completed return can also be provided for your file.
